6th Lemesos International Documentary Film Festival (3 – 10.8.2011)

In the framework of the 6th edition of the “Lemesos International Documentary Festival”, a documentary professional event is organized entitled DocsTalk. The initiative is directed to professional directors / producers and to anyone who is interested in learning more about the various aspects of creating a documentary film, such as storytelling and script writing, producing and developing, filming techniques and festival distribution.

The event is organized by Brave New Culture (Cyprus) in collaboration with Media Desk Cyprus, CyBC (Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation), SOURCES 2 (Germany), Leonard Retel Helmrich (The Netherlands) and Rada Sesic (The Netherlands).

DocsTalk is supported by the Cyprus Community Media Centre (CCMC) and the Directors Guild of Cyprus.


DocsTalk is open for all and it will take place at the Andreas Themistocleous Building of the Cyprus University of Technology in Lemesos.

English will be the working language of the workshop.
